About this service
Luggage storage in the center of Rovaniemi, open 24 hours a day at Korkalonkatu 36. Each booking gets its own lockable mesh cage rather than a narrow locker, which is why roughly 15 bags fit comfortably into one, alongside skis, snowboards, ski bags, pushchairs and boxes. The lock comes with the service and waits for you in the storage room.
You pay for the cage, not for each bag. Most left-luggage services charge per item, so a family or a small group sharing one cage pays a fraction of what the same luggage would cost elsewhere, and the price does not change whether you leave two bags or fifteen. Longer stays cost less per day.
You do not need to meet anybody to use it. The outer door opens with a code you receive when you book, directions to the storage room come with it, and you lock the cage yourself. Our staff check the premises regularly and our office is right next door, so if you would rather be shown where everything is, come during office hours and we will walk you over.
We would rather be straight about the limits than let you assume: the storage room itself is not locked, there are no cameras inside it, bags are not tagged individually, and luggage is not insured. Keep your passport, laptop, cash and medication with you. Availability is limited, particularly through the winter season, so booking ahead is worth it. If you are already in Rovaniemi you can book at the office instead.

Yes. The cages are mesh enclosures rather than narrow lockers, so skis, snowboards, ski bags, pushchairs and boxes fit easily alongside ordinary suitcases. Oversized gear does not need a separate booking or a larger size.
The price is per cage per day, not per bag, and it drops the longer you leave your things with us. The current starting price is shown at the top of this page. Because one cage takes about 15 bags, a group splitting a single cage pays a fraction of what per-item storage costs, and adding a ski bag or a pushchair does not add anything to the bill.
We recommend it. Space is limited and the cages do run out, particularly through the winter season. You can book online at any time, or book in person at our office at Korkalonkatu 36 if you are already in Rovaniemi.
