Afterward, everyone heads inside to warm up with a welcome drink and a buffet filled with tasty Lapland favorites, including reindeer, game, Arctic fish, and sweet blueberry pie. The entertainment takes place right around your table, so you won’t miss a thing. Watch as Circus Elves amaze you with acrobatics, juggling, and playful tricks, while live musicians fill the air with traditional Finnish and Lappish folk melodies. Santa Claus himself will visit every table, making sure each family gets a special moment and a photo to remember the night. Arrival at Arktikum
Make your own way to Arktikum, Pohjoisranta 4, one of Rovaniemi's best-known landmarks. Please arrive by your start time, 18:00. The evening begins outdoors on the snowy Arktikum square, so dress for the Arctic weather. There is no hotel pickup.
Live fire show in the Arktikum courtyard
The evening starts with a live fire show in the snowy courtyard of Arktikum, under the Arctic sky. This is the first flame of the evening.
Welcome drink and Lapland dinner buffet
After the show, head inside for a warm welcome drink, which may vary by season, and a buffet of local Lapland food. A sample menu includes a salad buffet with smoked reindeer mousse, archipelago bread, smoked vendace or salmon, sautéed game with mashed potatoes and lingonberries, reindeer sausage, and blueberry pie with vanilla cream. Coffee or tea is included. Vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes are marked. Alcoholic drinks are available to buy.
Circus Elves between the tables
During dinner, the Circus Elves perform acrobatics, juggling and playful tricks around the dining room. The show happens between the tables, so you are part of it rather than watching from a distance.
Live Finnish and Lappish folk music
Live musicians play traditional Finnish and Lappish folk tunes throughout the evening, the authentic sound of the North.
Santa Claus at your table
Santa Claus visits every table, and each party gets its own time with him for a photo. The evening ends with the last song, back at Arktikum where it began, about two hours after the start.
