Accommodation, catering, transport and logistics for exercising forces, delivered under a single contracting party.
Rovaniemi Insider Oy is a Rovaniemi-based accommodation and travel company providing Host Nation Support services to Finnish and international forces.
We manage approximately 1,000 bed spaces in the Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi area, operate our own accommodation in Oulu, rent vehicles, and arrange catering and transport both directly and through our partner network. We act as a DMC for NATO and HNS partners: our own and our partners' accommodation, vehicles and services are combined into a single package under one contract and one point of contact.
We are a commercial provider inside the host nation support chain, not the host nation authority.
Our Kemijärvi capacity lies within the operating radius of the Rovajärvi firing range. A recently renovated hotel in the town centre, taken room by room or reserved as a complete block for a unit. Sauna, shared guest kitchens, a restaurant and bar next door, free parking in front of the hotel.
Five minutes from Rovaniemi airport, the nearest of our sites to the point of arrival for an air movement. Rooms and apartments, reservable as a complete block, so an advance party stays together on the night it lands.
Self-catering apartments across the city centre, four to six berths each, several with a private sauna. The kitchens make them the practical option for planning staff and for an advance party working ahead of the main body.
Ford Tourneo Custom minibuses seating 1+8 and a passenger car fleet, operated by our own rental company. All vehicles are automatic, and capacity can be increased on request.
Winter driving and snowmobile handling for personnel arriving without cold-weather driving experience. Delivered at the accommodation before vehicles are signed for.
Provided directly and through partners. Special diets are accommodated, and catering can be arranged for field conditions.
Movement of personnel and materiel between airports, railway stations, accommodation and the exercise area, with the exercise transport chain planned and executed in cooperation with the authorities. Coaches are provided through our partner network.
Our own accommodation outside Lapland, on the route north, for staging and onward movement of a contingent arriving from the south.
Through an established partner network we arrange accommodation, catering and transport throughout Lapland and elsewhere in Finland, contracted by us so the unit still signs with one party.
We have delivered assignments in vehicle and accommodation services. Permission to publish those references has not yet been granted, so we do not name them here. Reference details are available on request where permission allows.
Our experience comes from year-round accommodation, transport and catering operations in the same geography in which the exercises take place. Our HNS lead has completed HNS and RSOM training.
Capacity is readily available and we can accept bookings at short notice.
