Overview
Rovaniemi Insider Oy is a Rovaniemi-based accommodation and travel company providing Home Nation Support services to Finnish and international forces. We manage approximately 1,000 bed spaces in the Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi area, operate our own accommodation in Oulu, rent vehicles, and arrange catering and transport both directly and through our partner network.
We act as a DMC for NATO and HNS partners. In practice, our own and our partners' accommodation, vehicles and services are combined into a single package under one contract and one point of contact.
Our HNS lead is Managing Director Jussi Mäkitervo, First Lieutenant (reserve).
Services
Accommodation
Approximately 1,000 bed spaces in the Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi area, alongside our own properties in Oulu. Hotel rooms, apartments and whole properties that can be reserved as complete blocks for a unit.
Accommodation near the exercise area
Our Kemijärvi capacity lies within the operating radius of the Rovajärvi firing range.
Vehicle rental
Ford Tourneo Custom minibuses seating 1+8 and a passenger car fleet. All vehicles are automatic. Capacity can be increased on request.
Personnel and materiel transport
Movement of personnel and materiel between airports, railway stations, accommodation and the exercise area.
Logistics
Planning and execution of the exercise transport chain in cooperation with the authorities.
Catering
Provided directly and through partners. Special diets are accommodated, and catering can be arranged for field conditions.
Exercise support
Arrangements supporting the preparation and execution of an exercise, in cooperation with the authorities and regional operators.
Area of operation
Our own capacity is concentrated in Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi, and we operate our own accommodation in Oulu. Through an established partner network we arrange services throughout Lapland and elsewhere in Finland.
Capacity is readily available and we can accept bookings at short notice.

Contract
Scope, schedule and responsibilities are agreed.
Preparation
Bookings, vehicles and partners are confirmed, and a named point of contact is assigned.
Execution
Services are delivered for the duration of the exercise through that single point of contact.
Closedown
Demobilisation and reporting.
Experience and training
We have delivered assignments in vehicle and accommodation services. Permission to publish those references has not yet been granted, so we do not name them here. Reference details are available on request where permission allows.
Our experience comes from year-round accommodation, transport and catering operations in the same geography in which the exercises take place.
Our HNS lead has completed HNS and RSOM training.
