Rovaniemi: Insider Reindeer Farm Visit and Long Sleigh Ride

Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your designated meeting point. We will drive you straight to our central office in Rovaniemi, where you will be outfitted with high-quality thermal winter clothing (warm outer suits, boots, and gloves) to ensure you stay perfectly cozy throughout the day.

Once everyone is warm and ready, we’ll board our comfortable, heated vehicle for the scenic drive out of the city. Relax and enjoy the beautiful, snow-covered Lappish landscapes as we head toward Sieriporo, an authentic, historic reindeer farm hidden in the forest.

Upon arrival at the farm, you will get your first introduction to the enchanting world of Lapland's most iconic animals. Your guide will lead you on a short tour of the traditional farm grounds, allowing you to see the gentle reindeer up close and snap those first unforgettable photos.

Now it’s time to experience the magic of the Arctic. Snuggle under warm blankets inside a traditional wooden sleigh as your reindeer guides you on a peaceful 2.5 km journey through the pristine, snow-laden forest. This serene 30-to-40-minute ride offers a perfect moment of tranquility and a chance to spot other wild arctic animals.

After the ride, step into the cozy warmth of the farm's traditional main house. Relax as local herders share fascinating stories about reindeer husbandry, daily life, and how they care for these animals throughout the seasons. While you listen, enjoy hot drinks, cookies, and a fresh bun, and receive your official souvenir Reindeer Driving License!

 With great memories and a warm belly, we will start the journey back to Rovaniemi. We'll make a quick stop at the office to drop off your winter gear before returning you safely to your original pick-up point.
