History

Kemijärvi Academy Hotel stands at the roots of both. Built in the 1960s in response to the growing need for teachers in Lapland, the building played a key role in the region’s teacher training and educational history.

This historic building has now been given a new life as Kemijärvi Academy Hotel – where the dignity of the past meets the comforts of modern hospitality.
